Senior Project Manager Network Planning

Purpose and Overall Relevance for the Organization
The Senior Project Manager Global Network Planning plays a key role in ensuring adidas Group distribution network develops in line with our business growth, providing a competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Network Studies & Capacity Checks for individual countries, supporting Director of Network Planning during regional network projects & programs.
* Develop Network Recommendations in close partnership with market SCM & Global partners.
* Coordinate Business Case Development & 'Make or Buy' evaluation in collaboration with Finance, Global partners, and Market CSM.
* Prepare & Deliver Presentations to Senior Management summarizing outcome of Studies to enable decision making.
* Finalize all activities across projects/programs, ensuring key tasks are handed over and documents are approved, completed, maintained, and stored appropriately.
* Initiate & Support Continuous Improvement Activities aiming at improving network team efficiency, competencies, and scope.
* Gain understanding of Inbound, Customs, Distribution, Deployment, and Transportation capabilities across adidas markets.
* Act as a trusted partner to supply chain teams and other global functions; provide ad-hoc support and insights where needed.

* Not shy away from problems and/or conflicts, speaking up, having an opinion, and a sociable can-do attitude.
* Experienced Supply Chain professional, with good knowledge on warehousing, deployment, transportation, and Inventory management.
* Proven track records on wide areas of tools (MS-Excel/PowerPoint, Llamasoft or similar supply chain design tools, Smartsheet, PowerBi, Project Management tools).
* Owning development and believing in lifelong learning.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
* Four-year college or university degree with focus on Supply Chain Management.
* Minimum 4+ year experience within project management, strategy, operations, network planning in SCM preferable.
* Strong experience managing complex projects related to warehousing, distribution, transportation, or process re-engineering.
* Project management certification an advantage.
