Mission
We are expanding and seeking a Configuration Manager (m/w/d) to strengthen our customer teams as soon as possible in Wetzikon.
* Manage product structure breakdown according to business standard based on inputs from the design organisation and coordinate as necessary with the production organisation.
* Define the Upper and Configuration Level parts of the Product Structure, including restrictions, options, and variants of designs and full-scale test articles (helicopter prototypes).
* Product Change Management: responsibilities cover changes to applicable design of series aircraft and changes of released data to full-scale test articles.
* Manage product configuration and change reports.
* Check and approve the CM scope of Installation Assembly drawings (CM rules assurance for Drawings).
* Utilize existing reports and contribute to the development of reports, together with the team.
* Administrate and perform all activities required for the creation, release, and decommissioning of Standard Parts and Commercial Off-the-Shelf components.
Standard Parts & COTS tasks
* Create and manage requests for new Standard Parts and COTS in corresponding project in confluence (Kanban board management).
* Request creation of Standard Parts and COTS to central department from Leonardo Helicopters division (LHD).
* Management of documentation required for approving the creation of Standard Parts and COTS.
* Management of activities required for ensuring manual synchronization of data between Teamcenter and SAP databases from the customer and LHD.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* At least 2 years of experience in relevant areas of responsibility.
* Experience in configuration management, change management, and product structure management.
* Proficiency in using PDM or PLM tools.
* Relevant education (e.g., degrees/certificates): BSc or higher.
* Knowledge in EASA Part 21 J & G config. req. and S1000D / ISO 10007 / ISO 9001 / ISO 9100, Siemens, Teamcenter, NX.
* Administration of product technical documentation.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work in an international environment.
* Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
