EMEA Strategic Planning & PMO Senior Analyst
We are currently looking for a key member of an International Strategy and PMO Community at BRP to lead activities for the EMEA Region.
This position reports to the Strategic Planning & PMO Manager, International and will be working closely with the EMEA Regional General Manager in collaboration with the Management Committee members of the region.
* Drive the process of strategic planning governance, as well as deploy & run a Project Management Office for the EMEA region.
The role consists of two main parts:
Strategy and Strategic Planning
* In recent years, the EMEA region has been on a journey to roll-out global processes and tools, as well as standardize practices to improve operational effectiveness. EMEA will now need to take a leadership role in testing future growth vectors and identify operational improvements opportunities.
* Together with the EMEA RGM & the International Strategic Planning & PMO Manager, structure and lead our new multi-year strategic planning reflections and business cases for EMEA.
* Analyze and package relevant information to support the EMEA Management Committee in strategic decision making (prioritization exercises, allocation of human and financial resources, etc.)
* Lead special projects/programs (coordinate, analyze, package) such as Key Growth Projects and product launches, business integrations, new business development opportunities and new business models/approaches for EMEA.
* Together with the Manager, act as coordinator in strategic projects that EMEA must lead across multiple sub-regions of International markets.
Project Management Office (PMO) and Governance
* To continue delivering key initiatives on our plan and the results expected by the EMEA region, EMEA's Management Committee needs to rely on performant practices and tracking as well as ensure a tight governance.
* Lead the operational governance in direct collaboration with the Management Committee, the RGM and its Executive Assistant.
* Aggregate EMEA executive leadership documentation and strategic insights to translate them into relevant communications.
* Lead the documentation and presentation design, review, and distribution for the Region.
* Prepare and finalize strategic presentations for key business updates such as CEO updates, budget presentations, Offsites and VIP Visits in EMEA.
* Lead Project Management Office or PMO [with necessary reporting tools and KPIs] where we track progress of key initiatives as identified by the Management Committee and report necessary information.
* Manage a portfolio of initiatives/projects/programs in line with key strategic priorities.
* Support members of Management Committee who will need help in structuring project management of key initiatives.
* Act as main Point of Contact for governance of global/international initiatives when EMEA members are involved.
You'll Thrive in This Role If You Have The Following Skills and Qualities
* 5-7 years of relevant experience in business strategy, project/program management, and/or strategic planning.
* Experience in industries related to durable goods (Auto, Powersport, Bicycles, Watches, Powered Tools, etc.) or in the retail industries managing franchises is preferable but not required.
* Mastering of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), ability to extract and analyze data is preferable to be autonomous in data manipulation.
* Good knowledge of Power Bi is an advantage.
* Relevant experience and proven ability to work effectively in international environments, across languages, cultures and time zones.
* Proven ability to structure business cases and package communication in order to influence senior management.
* Experience in Strategic Portfolio Management.
* Well-rounded business acumen combined with strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills. Financial analysis experience is a plus.
* Situation Leadership Capabilities.
* Tolerance for ambiguity and a strong level of adaptability.
* Positive can-do attitude with ability to step-back and raise questions to reconsider a statement.
* Fluent in English, additional European languages a plus.
