About the Job
The Commis de Rang will assist the Restaurant team in providing impeccable service to guests, reporting to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Manager within the Food & Beverage Department in Zurich.
Your Tasks
* Provide professional advice and customer care to guests
* Serve food and drinks professionally
* Meet high-quality standards
* Prepare mise-en-place, cover work, and clean the restaurant area
* Support Chef de Rangs in daily tasks
* Register transactions and conduct cash accounting
* Assist in preparing and implementing special events
* Comply with hygiene regulations and cleanliness guidelines
Your Profile
* Completed vocational training or 1-2 years of experience in F&B, preferably fine dining
* Excellent communication skills
* Open-mindedness and teamwork skills
* Excellent manners, well-groomed appearance, and positive charisma
* Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
* Excellent knowledge of German and English, with additional foreign language skills an advantage
* Right to work in Switzerland required
