Scientist (Tenure Track) for Next Generation Solid-State Batteries

For the Battery Materials and Diagnostics Group, we are looking for a:
Scientist (Tenure Track) for Next Generation Solid-State Batteries
* Lead research projects for the next generation solid-state batteries.
* Methods development for physical and electrochemical characterization of battery materials.
* Establish academic and industrial collaborations in projects focused on battery materials.
* Publication of results in scientific journals and presentations at scientific meetings.
* Assistance to the group head in preparation and execution of research projects.
* Supervision of PhD students and postdocs.
* Assistance to the lab management, equipment, and infrastructure planning.
Your Profile
* Self-motivated team player able to work independently with prior experience in electrochemistry and battery research.
* PhD degree in chemistry, physics, materials science, or a related field.
* Experience in battery materials analytical methods - operando techniques is an advantage.
* Background in synchrotron-based analytical methods is a plus.
* Good publication track record.
* Very good command of English and basic knowledge of German is required.
