Your role and responsibilities
As the Global Brand Specialist, you will oversee various brand-related tasks and support key brand initiatives. You will be responsible for managing the brand community, overseeing brand channels, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. Additionally, you will support brand guidelines, brand implementation and brand activation projects. Reporting to Head of Brand Design and Governance, this role is based in Zurich and is part of the Corporate Communications team.
* Ensure the ABB brand strategy is integrated across businesses, functions, and partner networks.
* Facilitate the global ABB brand community, encouraging engagement and exchanging best practices. Act as a contact person for brand questions and projects.
* Oversee the ABB brand community channels, ensuring regular updates and dynamic communication of brand news and events.
* Manage the ABB Brand Portal and media bank, ensuring content is current and aligned with brand guidelines.
* Develop and deliver brand training programs for employees and partners. Support the brand advisory team with strategic guidance and business insights.
* Oversee and manage design projects with external agencies. Manage the use of Templafy for brand templates and assets.
Qualifications for the role
* Approx. 7 years of experience in brand, communication, marketing positions within global firms or agencies.
* Bachelor/Master’s degree in Economics, Communications, Marketing or Design.
* Good understanding of brand strategy and brand governance.
* Demonstrated experience in brand management, or a related field.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate complex topics.
* Good organizational skills, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage many stakeholders at the same time.
* Proficiency in English.
