Key Responsibilities
As a Process Development & Industrialization Engineer, you will lead the development and industrialization of new manufacturing processes in collaboration with Project Leaders and cross-functional teams. You will act as Work Package Leader, responsible for planning, cost, quality, and timelines. Your role includes reviewing product requirements, defining technical specifications (URS), and ensuring alignment between product design and manufacturing capabilities. You will develop and refine processes to ensure robustness, scalability, and compliance, while supporting the creation and validation of key documentation such as batch records, protocols, and risk assessments.
You will ensure a smooth design transfer to manufacturing operations by preparing production documentation (DMR), training stakeholders, and supporting the initial manufacturing batches. In parallel, you will drive the technology transfer of processes to global manufacturing sites, ensuring reproducibility and compliance with regulatory standards. You will also lead innovation initiatives, recommend equipment or process improvements, and contribute to increasing efficiency, quality, and production yield for both new and existing products.
This role also includes active participation in risk analysis (e.g. eFMEA/pFMEA), continuous improvement, and close collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert, you will support training, audits, and mentoring activities within the department. You may also act as a backup for other Process Development & Industrialization Engineers and Project Engineers within the MSAT/PPD team.

Education & Qualifications
Professional Experience
* At least 5+ years of relevant experience in process development, industrialization, scale-up, validation, tech transfer and improvement in Medical Devices / Pharmaceuticals company.
* lndustrial experience working in a GMP / ISO 13485 compliant setting.
