Job Summary: Under limited supervision, the full-time Regional Business Development Executive position is primarily responsible for sales to public workforce organizations and partner agencies. The Regional Business Development Executive will be a member of our Sales team and will work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing. The position will include a varied set of responsibilities, as described below.
Duties And Responsibilities
1. Researching prospective sales targets and identifying opportunities
2. Contacting both cold and warm prospective clients via phone, email, and social media
3. Setting up and attending online and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients
4. Delivering presentations and product demonstrations via web links or face-to-face meetings
5. Demonstrating a thorough understanding of our technically complex products and explaining the nuanced differences between products
6. Independently managing a pipeline
7. Assisting in writing effective proposals and quotes
8. Building long-term professional relationships
9. Working with existing customers to introduce them to our wider product suite
10. Attending conferences and other networking events to promote Geographic Solutions and its products
11. Documenting sales activity in our sales tracking systems
12. Developing strategic partnerships
13. Working closely with the Project Management team to ensure new product delivery and implementation to the client’s satisfaction
Requirements
1. A minimum of two years in professional sales positions with proven sales results or experience working in the public workforce system
2. Bachelor’s degree required
3. Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
