Job Summary:
Maintenance Technician will perform corrective and preventative maintenance on manufacturing and laboratory analytical equipment. This role supports manufacturing and laboratory personnel in the use, maintenance, and repair of on-site process equipment. The Maintenance Technician also collaborates with Engineering and Facilities teams to optimize workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute assigned work orders in a safe, compliant, and timely manner, generating corrective work orders for problems discovered.
* Collaborate with Engineering and Facilities teams to solve problems and improve workflows.
* Provide input for maintenance budgets, including spares, service, training, and tools required.
* Maintain training compliance with all assigned curricula.
Qualifications:
* 5-10 years of experience working in a GMP Biotech regulatory environment.
* Experience with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control troubleshooting and repair.
* Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic industrial repair machinery.
* Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control principles.
* Safety-conscious individual with knowledge of system safety controls and general industrial safety practices.
* Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information to groups.
* Ability to draft SOPs and author PMs on equipment.
* Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
* Ability to work under short timelines within a manufacturing environment.
* Team-oriented individual able to work rotating shifts, extended shifts, and/or weekends.
* Practical knowledge of GxP regulations.
* Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.
* Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
* Six Sigma training preferred.
