We are looking for a Technical Application Manager to join our Application Management Team in Baden, Switzerland. If you thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing role where you can solve complex technical challenges and make a real impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
* Work directly with clients—both existing and new—to provide expert technical solutions and support.
* Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely execution within scope and budget.
* Deploy and configure financial software applications efficiently for seamless customer experience.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborating with internal product teams.
* Drive continuous improvement by refining onboarding processes and documentation.
* Support product managers and sales teams with technical expertise when needed.
What You Bring
Technical Expertise
* Strong experience in financial services, banking, or fintech, with knowledge of SWIFT and ISO 20022 standards.
* Hands-on experience with Linux, scripting, and databases (Oracle, Ingres, SQL).
* Familiarity with FTP/SFTP and WebSphere MQ integration.
Problem-Solving & Collaboration
* A practical approach to troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
* Ability to work independently, but also collaborate effectively across teams.
* Strong communication skills—you can explain technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in finance-related project teams (preferably with banks or financial institutions).
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Working Hours & On-Call Details
* Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
* Some Saturdays may be required
* On-call duty: Typically once per month
* On-call compensation: Paid at 50% of standard rate
