As a Quality Assurance Officer (m/w/d), you will directly report to our Quality Assurance Manager and you will join our Operations division in Vernier.
You will be in charge of assuring that the products comply with all applicable quality, product safety and customer requirements. You will support the execution of Quality Assurance, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and all others relevant strategies.
In this exciting role you will:
* Process Critical to Quality
* Ensure the effectiveness of processes critical to quality, including Change Control, CCP's, validation schedules/trials, pest control, cleaning, Product Recall, and production transfer.
* Manage Non Conformance
* Ensure the effectiveness of processes managing non-conformances, including Customer Complaints and internal non-conformance.
* Coordinate the review and response to client-related quality enquiries and agreements.
* Provide support to the QA Manager by performing analysis and interpretation/trending of reported data from multiple sources.
* Lead and implement assigned actions related to quality assurance requirements.
* Demonstrate and provide a good level of knowledge and interpretation of quality-related policies, standards, procedures, and requirements in daily work life.
* Assess the capability of external service providers, vendors, contractors, or toll manufacturers to ensure that their products or services meet our quality standards/contractual requirements.
* Participate in external/internal audits as a Lead Auditor.
* Provide quality-related training to the function.
* Induction training and subsequent coaching for less experienced QA officers/internal auditors/staff in operations and all other site functions.
* Provide guidance to partners regarding the update of their departmental manuals, procedures, and SOP's.
* Lead investigations into non-conformance and make batch release decisions associated with process deviations.
* Analyse and interpret CI/performance indicators/improvement project data, define and propose improvements, and implement approved actions.
* Promote quality principles and culture by working cross-functionally, being visible, walking the floor, and maintaining awareness of quality-related policies, standards, procedures, and requirements.
* Refer partners to the existence of such in daily work life.
* Author local site QMS documentation.
* Participate/lead Risk Analysis studies.
* Implement actions decided as a result of CI/performance indicators/improvement projects.
* Participate in investigations and VPMS meetings.

Your success profile includes:
* University degree preferred.
* Overall work experience of 3 to 4 years in a similar position.
* Technical skills.
* Experience using computer-based Management Systems.
* Experience with the principles of Quality Management Systems, e.g., ISO 9001 and continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of business processes in Operations, e.g., production methods, quality control systems, requirements for manufacturing and distribution facilities.
