We are now hiring a QA DC Specialist to join our quality team based in Galgenen, Schwyz.
Job Description
We are looking for a QA DC Specialist who ensures the quality of the finished products is maintained according to company guidelines. You will ensure compliance and take lead in various significant projects within quality.
Your Main Responsibilities Include
End responsibility related to stock checks, stock statuses changes and support global hold initiation.
Assist the Global QA with communication and follow up on finished good defect investigations and non-conformances noticed on products stored in Distribution Centers in Switzerland.
Support stock reconciliation and assist with Value Added Services and rework processes locally.
Identify, review and complete deviations, determine root cause, and develop CAPAs in collaboration with other departments to address product quality issues and GMP/GDP related activities.
Escalate critical issues to Quality/Distributions leadership as required.
Investigate critical customer and consumer complaints.
Conduct the documentation reviews in the quality team and provide feedback to the distribution as applicable for compliance with existing procedures and instructions, and verify the effectiveness of procedures and instructions versus EL requirements and needs.
Act as internal auditor for GDP process.
Create documentation for QA processes.
Perform final (where applicable) review of executed batch records and disposition.
Initiate, revise and review controlled documentation including procedures, investigations, deviations, and reports.
Participate in routine GMP, internal and corporate audits.
Take the lead in bigger quality compliance projects and represent quality within larger projects on local and regional levels.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Brings
Degree in Chemistry, Quality, or Logistics.
Experience in Quality assurance with cosmetic, food or pharmaceutical products or other regulated industries.
Knowledge of OTC Manufacturing is a plus.
Ability to interpret and assess operational compliance against Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations (FDA, KFDA, HC, ISO22716).
Ability to execute and coach teams in root cause problem solving and associated Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Ability to identify and drive process improvement opportunities by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to execute, summarize and manage process audits in the manufacturing areas.
Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to appropriately communicate information to cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.
Knowledge and ability to execute statistical sampling, AQL/ANSI interpretation, and read/interpret specifications, drawings and compounding/assembly instructions.
Ability to review SOPs, GMP reports, batch records and investigations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Electronic QMS, and SAP systems is preferred.
Six sigma certification is a plus.
Internal audit certification is a plus.
Knowledge of SAP or other Warehouse/Inventory Management System.
Willing to be hands-on and pay attention to detail.
English and German proficiency level required.
