As a Group Reporting Expert of Accelleron you will successfully prepare the Group’s published consolidated Financial Statements. You will be responsible for the finance and accounting management that involve collecting, processing and presenting accurate financial data. You further provide financial and operational feedback on the performance of the organization to inform management and other stakeholders. You will closely collaborate with the Group Consolidation Expert and the Group Internal Group Expert. Your will direct report to the Head of Group Accounting & Reporting.You Responsibilities: Financial ReportingManage and coordinate global Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including maintaining accounting policies, fixed assets management, and ledger integrity.Responsibility for the preparation of the Group’s published half-year and year-end consolidated Financial Statements (US GAAP).Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial and management reports generated through ERP systems including updates for changes in financial master data (e.g. chart of accounts, entity structure, reporting codes, etc.); plus support and alignment on group consolidation (if required).ComplianceProactively shape, monitor and operate a robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes and ensure they are valid, updated regularly, where needed, and implemented in all units of the Group.Ensure all the GAAP standards and public reporting requirements are met, if needed liaise with external service provider.Coordinate and manage external audits of the Group’s financial statements, acting as the primary liaison with auditors.Technical Expertise and Process ImprovementProvide technical accounting advice and support based on US GAAP and Accelleron’s Group accounting policy to the Accelleron finance organization.Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the R2R process, ensuring that they are incorporated in the work routine.Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimize ERP systems and other financial tools.Stakeholder EngagementMaintain stakeholder relationship with high integrity and appropriate communication manner.Promote cooperation, teamwork, and knowledge sharing. Cooperate with different stakeholders regarding Internal Control, Information Systems function, Accounting services etc.You Background and Qualifications:CPA (K), ACCA, or ACA qualification is required.Minimum 5+ years in a senior accounting role with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.Demonstrable expertise in US GAAP with hands-on experience in financial reporting and compliance frameworks (i.e. internal controls).High technical and managerial accounting skills.Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills, with experience in R2R processes.Proven ability to implement and maintain internal controls.Proficiency in stakeholder and project management (incl. planning and organizational skills).A collaborative, team-oriented personality with the ability to drive change and foster cooperation.Your benefits:CanteenChildcareModern office, smart workingFlexible working modelAttractive holiday planRemote work policyEmployee assistance programWe look forward to receiving your application.
