Position
In order to strengthen our Finance department, we are now recruiting a talented
Industrial Controller
Reporting directly to our Controlling & Reporting Manager, you will proactively manage, design, and deploy KPIs as to improve industrial performance and optimize costs. By closely collaborating with the F&A Team, the Production & Supply Chain Team, and internal/external auditors, you will have to be a key driver in impacting transversally your business partners as to drive and nurture a culture of perpetual improvement.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible to update standard cost in accordance with IFRS standards on a yearly basis. You will conduct in-depth analysis of production costs to identify sources of variations and propose recommendations for optimizing operational efficiency and reducing costs. Additionally, you will assist with the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasting. Implementing process improvements will be a crucial aspect of your role, as well as monitoring and managing stock obsolescence and provisions on a monthly basis.
You will also develop relevant indicators and conduct cross-functional analyses (scorecard / KPI management). Your focus will extend to monthly closing activities, particularly concerning inventory and scrap levels, as well as analyzing sales and Opex variances. Presenting findings to Senior Management and Manufacturing Managers following month-end and during planning sessions will be part of your responsibilities.
Analyzing and reporting on industrial investments, coordinating regular Capex reviews with operations teams, and collaborating closely with both internal and external auditors will also be part of your role.
Finally, you will assist in maintaining internal control documentation for annual testing procedures.
Profile
We are looking for a person capable of managing controlling tasks in two distinct and very different areas of production. Holder of a university degree in Economics or equivalent studies (HES, HEG, Brevet), you have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. You have a deep understanding of cost accounting principles and knowledge of budget and reporting techniques. A good perception of factory physics & supply chain management is a definitive plus. You have excellent command of SAP and Office computing, especially Excel. You are fluent in French and English; Italian is an advantage.
