Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our Product Development division, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our API-driven technology infrastructure for our cross-media self-booking platform.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop our internal developer platform to enhance developer efficiency and productivity.
* Lead and mentor a small team providing technical guidance and fostering best practices.
* Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on AWS.
* Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
* Develop and maintain infrastructure as Code.
* Implement and manage observability solutions.
* Automate developer workflows and improve system reliability.
* Ensure security best practices and compliance are embedded within infrastructure and applications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues in cloud environments.
Minimum Requirements
* Multiple years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or equivalent role.
* Proven hands-on experience with AWS base services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Cognito, VPC, ELB, ECR, SNS/SQS, Route 53, Lambda, etc.).
* Solid expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
* Proficiency in terraform for infrastructure automation.
* Experience with the ELK stack and Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.
* Familiarity with automation tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Backstage, Crossplane.
* Clear understanding of networking, web application security, platform engineering, cloud best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Previous experience leading a small team, or mentoring junior engineers.
