IATA’s Business Intelligence Services (BIS) serve as the focal point and driving force for aviation data management and BI services in the aviation industry. One of the four verticals within the IATA BIS department is Cargo Traffic and Sales BI.
Air Cargo provides the much-needed capacity for the transportation of emergency and commercial goods; it also generates essential revenue for airlines and other air cargo business entities, helping them maintain their bottom line and improve their cash position. In this domain, IATA is an established market leader with its CargoIS (cargo intelligence service) product, managed by the Cargo Traffic and Sales BI vertical. CargoIS is the world's most trusted premium air cargo business intelligence database, offering crucial information for stakeholders in the air cargo supply chain to make sound decisions.
The Product Manager New Market Segments Cargo BI will report to the Assistant Director of Cargo Traffic & Sales BI. This individual will be responsible for the CargoIS product growth in new segments as well as emerging markets. A percentage of the incumbent’s time will also be devoted to driving the execution of the CargoIS roadmap throughout the entire product lifecycle to meet customer demands specific from those new segments and emerging markets. In addition, the incumbent is to support the Senior Product Manager Cargo BI to expand CargoIS data coverage and drive business growth while ensuring compliance with anti-competition regulations. The incumbent will lead cross-functional teams, provide support to the sales team, and define and execute marketing strategy.
