Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships in Switzerland. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering long-term partnerships, and expanding our market presence in the energy storage sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and customer demands within the energy storage sector in Switzerland.
2. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies based on market insights, focusing on lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention.
3. Customer Engagement: Proactively engage potential customers, nurturing relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
4. Distributor and Installer Management: Establish and strengthen local distributor and EPC installer networks to drive product distribution and market expansion.
5. New Sales Channels: Actively develop new sales channels and partnerships to ensure continuous business growth.
6. Relationship Management: Manage and grow relationships with existing and upcoming distributors and installers, ensuring they receive necessary support, training, and guidance for optimal performance.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including technology, marketing, and customer service, to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
8. Sales Negotiation: Lead sales negotiations and contract processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and revenue targets.
9. Market Insights: Provide market insights, sales reports, and customer feedback to management, contributing to strategic planning and budgeting.
10. Opportunity Identification: Maintain a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities, growing existing accounts, and maximizing market penetration.
Requirements
1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Business Administration.
2. Professional Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the renewable energy or energy storage industry.
3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Swiss energy market and its key players.
4. Channel Sales: Demonstrated experience in channel sales, distributor management, and EPC installer engagement.
5. Communication Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Personal Qualities: Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
7. Languages: Fluency in English, French, and/or German.
Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within Switzerland & DAC as needed.
