We are looking for a Production Engineer who focuses on the specification, design, procurement, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes and equipment used to support factory operations.
This position is located in Flamatt, Switzerland.
What you will do
Your responsibilities will include:
* Taking responsibility for the process: maintenance of production systems/equipment. Coordination and execution of maintenance and repairs in cooperation with external suppliers.
* Monitoring, identification and implementation of measures to improve equipment performance.
* Project and/or sub-project management related to the development of new production systems and technologies and their introduction into ongoing production.
* Close collaboration with experts from technology, development, construction, procurement, quality assurance, as well as production and supplier management.
* Responsible for equipment and process validations.
* Conducting cost and lead-time reduction projects.
* Creation and maintenance of production documentation and specifications, especially process instructions.
* Proactive production support in case of issues.
We believe you have
* Completed engineering degree (Materials Science, Electrical/Mechanical/ Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering) or equivalent.
* Experience in maintenance and optimization of production systems.
* Experience in plant engineering and automation.
* Experience in project management.
* Experience in industrialization and process improvement.
* Experience with the following process technologies is advantageous: joining processes (brazing, welding), vacuum technology.
* English: good oral and written skills.
