Job Description
The Sustainability Controller role supports the Head of Sustainability in driving vision, organization, practices, and initiatives/projects. This position provides financial analysis and reporting to ensure cost visibility and adherence to legal requirements.
Daily Responsibilities
* Participate in defining ESG strategic directions, including AAA program, Climate Roadmap, and Positive Cup.
* Develop external relationships to foster innovation and explore new paths.
* Organize climate projects to achieve CO2 glidepath.
* Report accurate ESG KPIs according to SBTI and Nestlé internal requirements.
* Identify business cases and financing alternatives to support CO2 roadmap.
* Execute planning processes for ESG and conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual PEC activities related to finance.
* Drive efficiencies and cost optimizations.
* Ensure compliance and internal control by upholding procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
* University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar.
* Significant experience in controlling or finance functions within FMCG industry.
* Proven capability to initiate and manage projects.
* Deep understanding of business landscape and ability to connect various aspects of the business.
* Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive sustainability initiatives.
* Experience, interest, or qualifications in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters.
* Knowledge of how sustainability practices are embedded within the organization.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey sustainability strategies.
* Exposure to or experience in procurement process is a plus.
* Proficiency in English, any additional language is a plus.
