The Relationship Manager is the primary point of contact between the client and the Bank. He/she acts externally as an ambassador for the Bank and is internally a role model. The Relationship Manager is responsible for the proactive and autonomous management of a portfolio of (Ultra) High Net Worth private clients. This entails the delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions to meet the clients’ needs as well as dealing with routine enquiries and transactions. Professionalism and responsiveness are key. Acquisition of new client relationships through his/her network is an additional, integral element of the role. He/she is also responsible to deliver clients’ feedback regarding products and services to the relevant specialists within the Bank in order to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation in line with market trends.
YOUR CHALLENGE
1. Proactively developing and maintaining a (U) HNWI self-acquired portfolio of clients with focus on the APAC Market
2. Creating and building a trust-based relationship with the clients through regular and personalized contacts
3. Responding to all client needs in a timely and professional manner
4. Ascertaining and assessing the client's financial situation and overall objectives
5. Providing general wealth management services to the clients, namely by formulating integrated solutions (legal, tax, financial, etc.) based on the client’s objectives
6. Managing client assets in accordance with the investment guidelines and in coordination with the “Advisory Solutions” and “Investment Management” departments
7. Closely monitoring the evolution of the financial markets and, if needed, adapt the investment strategy accordingly
8. Introducing the Bank’s products and services to clients, by providing them with tailors-made investment solutions
9. Ensure adherence and compliance to regulatory procedures
YOUR PROFILE
10. Proven track-record in the in acquisition of new (U)HNWI relationships through existing network in the APAC market
11. At least 15 years of experience in advising sophisticated APAC based clients, managing sizeable books in a Private Banking Financial Institutions
12. Investment advisory competence and experience in local equities, bonds and extensive knowledge in derivative instruments; portfolio management experience would be an asset
13. Broad know-how of global financial markets, economics and current affairs
14. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities
15. In-depth knowledge of the APAC Market, including the legal and regulatory framework
16. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills as well as a great sense of negotiation
17. Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
18. Recent experience living and working in APAC would be an advantage
19. Enjoy working independently and taking initiatives
20. Business-oriented with the capacity to think strategically in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
