Job Description
We are currently searching for a STORE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT LEADER 100% to reinforce the retail international team at Swatch Headquarters in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities
* Design and implement retail design concepts for Swatch POSs within our corporate identity.
* Manage effective budget for all stores and control all project costs and capital expenditure until project's close out (cost monitoring sheet). Negotiation with suppliers and contractors.
* Closely collaborate with all external parties including contractors, consultants, clients and suppliers as well as all internal departments like Finance, Marketing, Sales, Retail Operations, Logistics.
* Supervise external architects, consultants, engineers and suppliers.
* Effectively communicate relevant information to direct managers.
* Tactfully communicate difficult / sensitive information.
* Resolve and/or escalate challenges in a timely fashion.
* E nsure project documents are complete, up to date and stored appropriately.
* Check investments before a project's start by benchmarking and aligning all costs to first estimations throughout the whole project development.
Profile
* University Degree in Architecture/Interior design and a min. of 5 years of Retail experience or in related fields or in Project Management.
* Computer skills: Knowledge of CAD, preferably Autocad.
* Abilities in working with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Package.
Professional Requirements
You are creative, detail oriented and have strong knowledge in construction details and building process. Furthermore, you have strong awareness of financial aspects of architectural projects and capacity to analyse and evaluate costs/offers/budgets.
In addition, you are multi-taskers with effective communication skills.
Languages
You are fluent in English, French and/or German, any additional language is a plus.
