About the Role
We are looking for an active personality to join our Global Controlling Team as a Junior Controller. As a key member of this team, you will support the FP&A function across Divisions and Key Business Functions, including Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, and SG&A.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual controlling/financial reports.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the development of budgets, forecasts, and mid-term planning, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
* Variance Analysis: Perform budget vs. actual analyses, identifying trends, variances, and key performance drivers.
* Internal Controls & Compliance: Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
* Financial Reconciliation: Assist in account reconciliation and the resolution of discrepancies.
* Audit & Governance: Support internal and external audits, preparing relevant documentation and responding to auditor queries.
* Process Optimization: Contribute to the enhancement and automation of financial processes and reporting tools.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and decision-making support.
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Initial experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role (internships or entry-level experience are a plus).
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS).
* Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI/CO) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Interest in or progress toward a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an additional asset.
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and tax regulations.
* Fluent in English (mandatory).
* German is preferred but not mandatory.
