As the Pricing Analyst within the Group Sales Excellence team, you will be responsible for enhancing pricing methodologies, overseeing the pricing processes globally, developing and optimizing pricing solutions, conducting in-depth data analysis, and establishing governance frameworks. By ensuring the effective and consistent use of pricing tools and processes across different markets, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and supporting strategic pricing initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Pricing Methodology: Develop and refine pricing models, and manage pricing escalations. Collaborate with the key stakeholders across sales and marketing organization to ensure market requirements are accurately reflected.
• Pricing Process and Tools:Leverage advanced price management tools and technologies to automate processes and enhance decision-making. Oversee price setting and quote processes within pricing tool, ERP, and CRM systems. Support establishing pricing guidelines tailored to different markets.
• Monitoring and Analysis: Develop a comprehensive pricing analysis framework, and conduct thorough monitoring of pricing performance metrics (KPIs) consistently. Perform scenario analysis of pricing strategies, and provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
• Governance: Implement and enforce governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance with the established pricing processes. Address deviations promptly and provide clear guidance to the sales and marketing teams to maintain alignment.
• Training: Lead pricing training program for the sales and marketing teams, ensuring they can effectively apply pricing strategies, by utilizing the tools, and processes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, finance, or a similar business role, preferably within B2B manufacturing or distribution business environments, with expertise in pricing models, as well as pricing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a solid understanding of pricing and revenue management.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various teams, including executives and sales and marketing leadership.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Proficiency in German or French is desirable. Any other language is a plus.
• Ability to structure data analysis in Excel, utilize PowerBI and create compelling presentations in PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce and SAP is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, as required.
