About the Role Major accountabilities:
Independently design and execute in vitro experiments using both murine and human immune cells from skin
Independently perform murine in vivo experiments in mechanistic mouse models
Generate multi-omics (e.g. protein, sequencing) data sets on cells from skin tissue (murine and human)
Analyse multi-omics data sets and continuously evolve analysis skills.
Conduct innovative, interdisciplinary translational research to publish results in leading journals
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in immunology or cellular biology (PhD students in the last year of their thesis work are eligible to apply)
Strong publication record in the area of immunology and/or resident memory T cells
Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and organizational skills
Candidates must be able to work independently as well as with interdisciplinary teams
Experience and knowledge in the field of tissue resident memory T cells, T cell fate and T cell exhaustion
Skills:
Strong expertise in flow cytometry, murine and human immune cell isolation and manipulation (culture, stimulation, analysis)
Experience with murine and/or human skin, as well as basic molecular biology techniques
First experience and computational skills (e.g. R, Python, analysis of big data) to analyze own data sets
