Commercial Tracker Insights & Analytics Manager

Position Purpose:
The Commercial Insights & Analytics Manager leverages in-depth business knowledge, advanced analytical capabilities, and understanding of data and KPIs to drive profound investigations on our industry, categories, and consumer trends, providing qualitative and quantitative commercial insights to management and corporate stakeholders.
The main focus of this position is the management of Consumer Behavior KPIs (data & metrics from Global Tracker), including:
* Descriptive & prescriptive analysis across incidence & tracker reports (consolidation & connecting the dots).
* Data availability (mainly dashboard system targeting one self-service model for the whole JTI org.).
* Active involvement in the development and expansion of the Heated tobacco consumer experience KPIs framework.
The incumbent will govern and evolve business definitions, KPIs, data sources, analytics products, and global SI reports to secure a relevant, insightful, and accurate read of the business. They will participate in cross-functional projects, providing strategic guidance on measures and data sources, and driving consumer and commercial business knowledge across the organization.
Responsibilities:
* Leverage in-depth business knowledge, advanced analytical capabilities, and understanding of data and KPIs to drive profound investigations on our industry, categories, and consumer trends, providing qualitative and quantitative commercial insights to management and corporate stakeholders. Develop and present story-telling reports to explain what has happened, why it happened, and what could be next to spark new business perspectives and strategies definitions, or to set the ground for ad hoc investigations by other SI teams.
* Take ownership of Market Dynamics KPIs and data sources governance, addressing questions or concerns from senior stakeholders. Drive regular assessments of existing KPIs or propose new measures and dimensions of analysis, ensuring approved changes implementation with technical teams.
* For the analytics products under accountability, preserve their business relevance and accuracy. Define the yearly roadmap in close collaboration with the Commercial Analytics Manager and relevant stakeholders, monitor the roadmap implementation, and adjust priorities if needed.
* Facilitate understanding of consumer behavior data mainly coming from Tracker. Create necessary tools (Power BI...) to ensure understanding of the KPIs evolution, creating and proactively providing all relevant insights to the organization.
* Provide corporate stakeholders with the highest quality support across cross-functional initiatives, ensuring adherence to business governance principles and providing relevant commercial insights for the success of the project.
Requirements:
* University degree.
* 10+ years' experience in Marketing & Sales function in a market, region, or HQ.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English.
* Strong business understanding with extensive knowledge of the different variables impacting our industry categories and brands development.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of Tracker program and market dynamic data sources (Nielsen, IRI...), KPIs calculation, reporting, and insights generation.
* Project management experience, able to manage details without losing sight of the bigger picture, prioritizing on the fly while managing changing business priorities.
* Experience managing and working with external suppliers and internal senior stakeholders.
* Proficiency with statistical models and decision-making on which model provides a more accurate read of the business.
* Proficiency with Python, R, Excel, VBA, Power BI, SQL.
* Ability to make engaging presentations summarizing relevant consumer behavior information in an easy-to-understand and actionable way.
* Solid verbal and written communications skills and ability to manage different stakeholders.
* High capacity to organize and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
* High level of autonomy and decision-making on topics with broad impact across the organization.
* High problem-solving capacity with a focus on pragmatic and sustainable solutions.
* Business translation skills to leverage deep knowledge and commercial acumen.
* Awareness of the right technology to solve business needs and understanding of database structure.
