Apply now and join this outstanding team as Senior Laboratory Scientist Physico-Chemical Quality Control for a 1-year contract!
Key Responsibilities
1. Independently run routine/validation phys-chem assays (e.g. compendial/content/identity/purity for small molecules, biologics/large molecules and related entities) in QC under cGMP following applicable SOPs and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in a right first time and timely manner.
2. Complete/review/approve basic operational tasks in the lab (e.g. mobile phase preparations, calibration of pH meter, balance).
3. Assist in investigation/troubleshooting lab equipment issues by proactively driving the investigation and proposing mitigation measures.
4. Ensure lab clean/maintenance (inventory/consumables management process, 6S) to cGMP standards for audit readiness and support onsite customer/regulatory audits.
5. Support draft/update of instrument SOPs.
6. Participate and initiate as a member in laboratory operational optimization and process improvement initiatives.
7. Train to conduct and review compendial/non-purity methods and purity/identity/content methods in the laboratory.
Key Requirements
1. BSc, MSc or equivalent experience in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
2. Working experience in a research/technical role in the pharmaceutical or biochemical industry, in analytical quality testing (QC).
3. Solid experience working in a cGMP-regulated environment in phys-chem analytics.
4. Advanced scientific knowledge of phys-chem analytics performed in the lab.
5. Experience with laboratory specific software (e.g. Empower, LIMS-system) is advantageous.
6. Experience in reporting, interpretation and documentation of scientific results.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently in a team.
8. Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
