We're seeking a Quality Manager Power Transformers - Europe to drive quality excellence end-to-end in our value chain across Hub Europe. The Product Line Quality Manager will report directly to the Hub Europe Quality Manager and be located in one of our production facilities: Bad Honnef (Germany), Cordoba (Spain), Monselice (Italy), Ludvika (Sweden), Lodz (Poland), or Vaasa (Finland).
Your Responsibilities
* Lead Quality performance in the factories, providing governance for Factory Quality Managers in our Power Transformer factories.
* Accountable for quality performance towards achievement of Quality targets on Product Line level.
* Accountable for achievement of quality improvements in the factories.
* Lead key improvement projects supporting quality goals.
* Support Factory teams by providing Lean 6 Sigma competences.
* Implement Quality System and common Quality Initiatives within PL.
* Lead cost-out projects (quality-related projects, Hard OPQ cost reduction, etc.).
* Accountable for continuous improvement measures such as Lean Six Sigma.
* Responsible for deploying Lean Six Sigma methodology and Certification process across the factories.
* Accountable for development and deployment of local factory QPIs and execute regular follow-up with factories.
* Part of Power Transformer management team.
* Address challenge and activities for Quality improvement, coordinating cross-functional Quality Specialists in Engineering and Marketing & Sales (HUB Quality End-to-End strategy) in the Product Line.
Your Background
* Masters degree in engineering or correlated relevant discipline.
* Previous hands-on experience in Transformers, electro-mechanical or related industry on a role as Quality Manager.
* Demonstrated strong drive and leadership in a Quality Management position in a manufacturing environment, for a minimum of 7 years.
* Expertise on delivery of effective and accurate problem-solving with solid Root Cause Analysis using different methodologies.
* Strong exposure to processes and methods such as APQP, Lean 6 Sigma, etc. and tools such as Ishikawa, FTA, FMEA, QFD, etc.
* Conversational with Quality international standards such as, but not limited to, ISO 9001, IEEE or IEC.
* Excellent interpersonal & multi-cultural as well as good soft skills (communication, negotiation & influencing), networker, business savvy, result-oriented, resilient, with fluency in English.
* The Product Line Quality Manager is expected to travel on demand, in average 30% of the time.
* Local language skills are a plus.
