About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Analyst with a strong background in the Insurance market and expertise in Guidewire Insurance Suite to join a major IT transformation project within a leading insurance company.
The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical and business acumen, be able to communicate fluently in English, and possess knowledge of German or French as a second language.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in the insurance domain, including business and IT teams, to define requirements for Claims transformation initiatives.
2. Conduct detailed business analysis, focusing on understanding business needs, identifying solutions, and documenting functional requirements and use cases.
3. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of requirements.
4. Work with Guidewire Insurance Suite to ensure the implementation aligns with the business goals and requirements.
5. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders, ensuring alignment across business and technical teams.
6. Provide guidance to developers and quality assurance teams to ensure the solutions delivered meet business requirements.
7. Contribute to change management activities and assist in training and documentation for end-users.
8. Support project management teams with risk identification, issue resolution, and status reporting.
Your Skills:
1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance industry, with a focus on Claims Management.
2. Strong experience working with Guidewire Insurance Suite (GW ClaimCenter in particular) (Guidewire certifications are a plus).
3. Solid understanding of the insurance claims process and IT transformation projects.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in German or French is highly preferred.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
8. Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
9. Knowledge of additional technologies and platforms in the insurance domain.
10. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the Swiss insurance market.
