We are looking for an experienced profile to manage our Expense Transparency team. The team is responsible for client and regulatory reporting in relation to the fees and expenses of our products and investment structures, and also provides input for fundraising efforts.
This senior member will be part of the Financial and Regulatory Reporting cell, which is globally in charge of product reporting and audits, with presence in Zug, Singapore, and Manila.
Responsibilities include leading and managing the Expense Transparency Reporting team in its day-to-day activities, while implementing system, tools, process, and control enhancements, as well as servicing of various client requests.
Key areas of the function will be:
1. Leading the Expense Transparency Reporting team, including managing 2 supporting mid-level or junior team members in day-to-day activities
2. Actively managing and effectively collaborating with stakeholders in other key internal teams such as Compliance, Client Solutions, Product Management, Risk Management, Product Reporting, and external partners
3. Interpreting and implementing any related regulatory requirements, updates and guidelines such as PRIIPS / MIFID (EU), FIDLEG (CH), SECA (CH), CTI, TCA, DCPT (UK),
4. Managing currently ongoing as well as future process, system, and/ or control improvement projects, including supporting sub-streams
5. Managing the compilation and review of the underlying financial information obtained from other supporting teams, including external service providers
6. Managing the TER (SECA, Switzerland), PRIIPS/ MiFID (EU) annual reviews and other ad-hoc internal and external reporting processes relating to expense transparency and related regulatory topics
7. Internal and external communication (verbally and written) across multiple functions and all levels of seniority
8. Acting as a company-wide subject matter expert on expense transparency and related regulatory topics
9. Proactive coaching and training of more junior colleagues (as required)

10. Minimum 8-10 years’ experience from the financial services industry or audit
11. Experience within alternative investments financial reporting (including complex structures), with an ability to interpret different type of accountings standards
12. Understanding and experience with different private markets investment structures and strategies, with the ability to proactively identify, communicate, and address any operational challenges, risks, or potential improvements
13. Candidates with experience in PRIIPS / MIFID (EU), FIDLEG (CH), SECA (CH), CTI, TCA, DCPT (UK), regulatory reporting will be preferred, displaying ability to understand regulatory requirements and their practical application
14. Leadership skills with experience in leading and guiding a team
15. Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects relating to process, systems, and/ or control improvements within the financial services industry
16. Flair for systems and data management, with an ability to understand current set-up and having the skillset of implementing new solutions independently, or together with our Business Applications teams
17. Effective communication and presentation skills while collaborating, communicating and presenting to stakeholders across different functions and all levels of seniority in an international setting,
18. Experience in coaching more junior members, while providing proactive, constructive upward and downward feedback
19. Proficiency in English required; proficiency in German preferred
