The TPL or Sr. Manager is responsible for the design, involving & driving in the execution and hand over of CAPEX investment projects in Visp SM Areas within safety, cost, schedule, quality and functionality. This includes the capability to manage all engineering areas and to assure the right first time application of Lonza Technical Standards, as well as engineering principles, concepts, industry practices & standards. To achieve this, this Role is in close collaboration with the technical team as well the interacting with the PL, senior management until IQ / OQ. This role is at a Senior Manager level and has operative leadership within the midsize and large CAPEX projects in the range of 50 200 MCHF. Responsibilities: Ensure the compliance with all pertinent safety policies, rules and regulations. Share and enforce the applicable standards & practices with the project team and Work Package Owners Execute the CAPEX project according to budget, scope and on time deliverables Review and approve technical documentation (e.g. P&IDs) Organize internal as well as external workshops and support team members to establish agendas, meeting minutes, actions lists Contribute to ensure the adequate project control systems needed to manage the risk, cost and schedule are timely in place. Conduct regular engineering and project control reviews with the project team in order to ensure that the project execution is on track (safety, quality, cost & schedule) and to identify and implement remedial action(s) in case of any deviation from project objectives. Participate in FATs / SATs as observing auditor Contribute to the implementation overall project resources (internal and external). To ensure the implementation of the state of the art technical solutions and to ensure compliance with internal and external quality, safety and ecology standards. Ensure the sharing and leveraging of best practices and expertise within Lonzas engineering community. Ensure the successful hand over of the project to the user team including the right level of training and correct documentation Key requirements: Bachelor or Higher Degree in Engineering in Chemical Processes, Mechanical, Plant Engineering or similar 3+ years in project engineering or project management for chemical, or pharmaceutical industries with international experience Project engineering skills, including contract management in collaboration with professional procurement organization Understanding project controlling and project appraisal knowledge Wide interdisciplina
