Our client, a leading manufacturing company in German-speaking side of Switzerland, is seeking for a skilled professional to enhance the synergy between software development and operations. This hybrid role combines advanced software engineering with hands-on implementation, ensuring reliable and efficient automation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement PLC/SPS and automation software solutions with a focus on cutting-edge technology and sustainable development practices.
Create high-performance, scalable software architectures that align with operational needs.
Continuously enhance and improve existing software systems to meet evolving requirements.
Manage the deployment and configuration of software systems within production or manufacturing environments.
Partner with operational teams to ensure seamless integration and solve any technical challenges that arise.
Continuously refine deployment processes to increase overall system efficiency and reliability.
Design and maintain automated CI/CD to streamline the development-to-deployment cycle.
Foster close collaboration between software engineers and operations teams to ensure system optimization.
Perform source analysis and implement corrective measures to maintain high system uptime.
Support with electronic colleagues to integrate essential components.
Conduct comprehensive system tests to ensure full functionality and alignment with production standards.
Your Profile
Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or IT related studies (BSc or MSc.), or similar fields.
Experience with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and DevOps.
Solid experience with Vector tools.
At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, or automation engineering roles.
Beneficial experience in a (Highly) Regulated Environment (as in ISO 13485).
Proven ability to work with international teams using remote collaboration tools.
Proficiency in English for effective communication in a global context.
Willingness to travel for project coordination and deployment activities.
This role is based in Central Switzerland with a leading manufacturing company. We can only consider Swiss and EU citizens for this position.
