Overview:
The Senior Director of Cyber Security will lead the global cybersecurity strategy and operations across all regions for Aman and its entities. Reporting directly to the Chief Information and Technology Officer (CITO), the successful candidate will play a critical role in protecting the organization's digital infrastructure, safeguarding guest and corporate data, and ensuring the resilience of its systems against evolving cyber threats.
In this high-impact role, the Senior Director of Cyber Security will develop and execute a global cybersecurity strategy aligned with Aman’s business goals, manage cybersecurity policies and risk management, and implement cutting-edge security solutions. As a senior leader, they will work closely with senior executives and key stakeholders to communicate cybersecurity priorities and ensure the organization is protected from current and future threats.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and execution of a global cybersecurity strategy to protect the organization from cyber threats.
2. Oversee global incident response efforts, ensuring rapid and effective management of security breaches and vulnerabilities.
3. Establish and enforce global cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
4. Drive innovation by selecting and implementing advanced cybersecurity technologies, staying ahead of emerging trends such as AI-driven threat detection and Zero Trust architecture.
5. Manage the global cybersecurity risk management program, identifying critical risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
6. Define and manage the global cybersecurity budget, allocating resources to ensure the security team meets organizational needs.
7. Lead and mentor a global cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
8. Build cross-functional relationships with key departments including IT, Legal, HR, and Compliance to integrate cybersecurity into all business processes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CISA, are highly desirable. The candidate should have at least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing global cybersecurity operations in a multinational organization.
A deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST), regulatory requirements (GDPR, PCI-DSS), and experience with cutting-edge security technologies such as cloud security and AI-based threat detection is required. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with a global mindset and the ability to adapt security strategies across different regions and cultures. A willingness to travel internationally is also required.
