Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Financial Tools and Projects Lead to join our team as a business partner and advisor to the CFO. In this role, you will improve efficiency and automate financial processes by implementing new financial tools, introducing or updating policies, procedures, manuals and checklists. You will also serve as the IFS Global Key User, leading the finance subproject for the upgrade to IFS Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive reviews of current financial processes and identify opportunities for automation and system improvements.
* Maintain and propose further developments of business reporting tools and analytical models that allow management to have greater insight into profit and costs.
* Evaluate and lead the implementation of new financial tools.
* Act as a global key user for IFS (ERP) and support the finance team.
* Identify and implement continuous improvements to IFS, enhance system functionality and user experience.
* Manage and optimize the interface between Tagetik and IFS.
* Lead the finance subproject for the upgrade to IFS Cloud, in collaboration with IT and other departments.
* Provide support for the implementation of future finance organizational structures to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication.
* Contribute to the implementation of new policies, procedures and processes and to the update of the Accounting Manual.
* Manage the documentation of all financial procedures and policies.
* Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive manuals & checklists.
* Introduce and maintain finance reporting rules for the design of comprehensible reports, presentations and dashboards.
* Finance School Responsible: Develop and manage a finance training program for employees and ensure staff are well-trained in financial processes and tools.
* Manage the finance SharePoint site and organize the finance file storage.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
* A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
* Experience in a European manufacturing industry; multi-plant manufacturer is an advantage.
* Extensive practical knowledge with IFS (ERP); experience with IFS Cloud is an advantage.
* Familiarity with financial software (e.g. Tagetik, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills.
* Proven track record in financial automation and system integration.
* Project management and organizational skills.
* Good working knowledge of operational accounting, experienced and knowledgeable in core financial matters.
* Experience with change management in organizations and leading international projects, with strong 'hands-on' execution skills.
* International business experience.
* Practical experience with implementing IBCS Standards (International Business Communication Standards/reporting rules) is a plus.
* Professional English, German at least business level; any additional language, especially Italian, would be a great asset.
* Working experience in Switzerland is required.
