The company is seeking an Energy Management Specialist to join its dynamic team.
Role Overview
As an Energy Management Specialist, you will work within the Applications & Services team of the “Energy Management” department. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a key user of the Energy Data Management (EDM) system, supporting the application manager with technical analyses and implementations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of energy data and help develop solutions that align with market rules. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT and business users to enhance systems related to risk management, optimization, forecasting, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a key user of the Energy Data Management (EDM) system, supporting its implementation and ongoing improvements.
Provide technical expertise and support to business users, enabling the efficient exploitation and management of energy data.
Collaborate on the development and maintenance of applications in energy management, including SDL, risk management, and forecasting tools.
Lead or contribute to projects aimed at enhancing services in energy management.
Analyze and generate reports based on data to support FMV as a supplier and balance group.
Stay updated with regulations and principles surrounding electricity measurement, ensuring compliance within energy management practices.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering (HES) or equivalent training.
Proven experience in a similar role within the energy sector, particularly in energy management applications such as EDM, ETRM, PFM, and optimization.
Knowledge of the Robotron suite is a plus.
Strong understanding of the Swiss energy environment and the economic sensitivities involved.
Analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data.
Proactive, reliable, dynamic, and organized approach to work.
Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Fluent in German or French, with good knowledge of the other language, and proficiency in English.
