With the purpose of driving consistency and excellence in commercialisation capability building, ensuring that the right future-relevant mindsets, knowledge & skills are built efficiently & effectively across Pharma International, Roche created the Commercialisation Capabilities Center of Excellence. As a centralised cross-functional team with a strong track record in developing and implementing commercial capability building programs, this group will bring together dedicated people with diverse specialised expertise to enable consistent, sustainable and effective Commercialisation Capability Building across Disease Areas in Pharma International.
The Opportunity:
As the CoE Learning Experience Design Lead, you are instrumental in leading, steering, and directing the design & measurement roadmap of learning programs for Pharma International. This critical role involves working closely with the CoE Operations Lead, senior leaders, and Capability Managers to ensure that the most up-to-date learning design techniques are embedded in learning journeys. Providing senior-level advice and mentorship across the extended network, you ensure that the CoE remains at the forefront of learning and development best practices. This position is accountable for the learning experience design, including technology, intelligence, and data strategy, that supports the commercialisation capability development strategy and business outcomes.
This pivotal position plays a significant role in fostering a continuous learning culture and contributes substantially to the CoE's goal of enhancing commercialisation capabilities. It requires not just expertise but also the gravitas to influence and advise senior leaders and their teams, including General Managers, Area Heads, and global leaders. Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:
* Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic development and implementation of a comprehensive learning technology, intelligence, and data strategy that supports commercialization capability development and business outcomes. Advise senior leaders on learning design-related capability needs to ensure alignment with organisational goals. Influence the CoE’s direction by incorporating innovative learning design techniques and robust measurement methodologies.
* Program Design and Collaboration: Oversee and enhance the learning and development design expertise within the CoE by integrating the latest techniques, collaborating with various leaders on program design and measurement, and mentoring stakeholders to utilise learning design for sustainable commercial capability journeys.
* Advisory and Partnership: Serve as a senior advisor and primary point of contact for Learning Experience design needs, offering strategic guidance, partnering with Capability Leads to improve training program effectiveness, and contributing as a senior team member in organisational work packages.
* Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Utilise data and feedback to refine learning designs, develop scalable and engaging learning products, apply advanced instructional design theories for senior leaders, and maintain thorough project documentation for future improvements.
* Community Engagement: Facilitate community engagement and knowledge sharing across all business areas and geographic locations to prioritise and expand access to learning and development.
Who you are:
* You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
* With significant experience in a senior Learning and Experience Design role with a strong focus on program design and learning roadmap development in large multinational organisations, you demonstrate expertise and thought leadership in the latest learning design techniques and their application in capability-building programs.
* With exceptional strategic thinking and program design capabilities, you demonstrate the ability to influence and steer cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders; you have a built track record of designing and developing scalable learning products and compelling content for senior audiences.
* You have strong proficiency in contemporary L&D design tools and technologies, including learning management systems.
* With an innovative mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement, you possess superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and advise senior leaders.
* Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects; you demonstrate the ability to seek out and apply emerging L&D best practices and trends to enhance program effectiveness.
* You are proficient in English.
