Director Capital Markets and Risk

About this role:
* Responsible for the execution of 3rd party Debt activities such as issuances, Revolving facilities, and local Debt and other instruments.
* Negotiate with banks, investment banks, and other financial institutions to secure optimal financing terms.
* Monitor market trends, interest rates, and investor sentiment to identify opportunities for refinancing or raising capital.
* Interact regularly with credit rating agencies (e.g., Moody's, S&P).
* Prepare and present regular detailed analysis and forecasts of credit rating (internal model) to support credit rating modelling.
* Ensure appropriate and efficient local entity capital structures are in place for Sandoz' subsidiaries and support local entities in managing financial risks affecting local profitability.
* Coordinate the dividend process.
* Extensively use models to forecast and analyze the impact of financial markets on the group's key performance indicators and capital structure.
* Work closely with other functions to improve working capital through structured (trade) financing solutions.
Your qualifications:
* A Master Degree in economics or MBA or similar qualification.
* Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.
* 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the life science industry.
* Advanced knowledge of Capital Markets (and associated other interest rate markets), risk management techniques, and modelling.
* Experience in execution of Bonds, Term loans, RCFs, alongside previous experience working for corporate multinationals at HQ level.
* Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance, debt issuance, credit rating processes, and market analysis.
* Ability to translate technical solutions into simple and concise proposals.
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with executive leadership and external stakeholders, able to communicate effectively on C level.
* A team player with a collaborative, results-oriented approach and a high level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
* Additional experience gained in banking or financial industry is considered an advantage.
