Role & Responsibilities: As an Associate Principal, the successful candidate will manage and lead multiple consulting projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing project teams, both internal and external, to design, develop, and deliver client solutions
* Leveraging business experience and acumen to identify strategic alternatives and approaches to client questions
* Acting as the main point of contact with clients, ensuring communication is clear and effective
* Following up with clients post-project to ensure satisfaction and identify further opportunities
* Supporting the development of intellectual property for use in future engagements
* Managing proposal preparation and ensuring overall bid integrity
* Developing new business opportunities through identification of follow-on work and leads
* Providing high-level input into the development of client reports and presentations, and delivering findings to clients
* Sharing subject matter expertise to elevate team capabilities and deliver world-class client solutions
* Leading ad hoc work streams related to people management, such as recruitment and learning development
* Serving as a coach and mentor to 3-4 junior staff members, supporting their professional growth
About You: The ideal candidate for this role will have substantial experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, particularly in Value & Access strategy consulting .
* 5-8 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, with a focus on Value & Access strategy consulting
* Expertise in pricing/contracting, market access, or evidence strategy
* Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills
* Experience in and commitment to the life sciences and healthcare industries
* At least 2-3 years of project management or leadership experience, focused on multinational strategic consulting projects
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, report writing, and meeting facilitation
* Proven ability to manage large and/or multiple projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes while meeting deadlines
* Experience working in multi-disciplined teams and leading staff
* Ability to develop credible relationships with senior-level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others across the organisation
* Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques
Additional qualifications include:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree or MBA is a plus
* Proven track record of leadership and people development
* Fluency in English (spoken and written)
