We are seeking a Legal Counsel to support our investment firm specializing in private markets. Our firm manages significant assets across private equity, private debt, real estate, and infrastructure, leveraging specialized local teams and a global platform to provide high-quality investment management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate, regulatory, and governance matters.
* Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including investment management, administration, distribution, marketing, and non-disclosure agreements.
* Maintain corporate legal files and statutory registers.
* Collaborate with internal teams such as Compliance, Investment Management, and Operations on legal and corporate projects.
* Liaise with external counsel and assist the General Counsel in regulatory compliance.
* Support the Board and Management Committees with legal tasks, including drafting internal policies, service level agreements, and governance documents.
Your Profile:
* Experience in complex cross-border M&A transactions or Private Market transactions providing legal support for structuring, negotiating, and documenting investments, including Private Equity deals.
* A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
* Postgraduate studies or foreign degree, or equivalent work experience abroad.
* The ability to communicate complex matters in a clear, logical, and concise manner, and effectively engage with senior management and external experts.
* The capacity to handle multiple priorities, manage competing tasks, and remain composed under pressure, coupled with excellent project management skills.
* An excellent command of English.
* Strong conceptual, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
