The Position
Account Manager - Roche Sequencing Solutions (d/f/m)
We are located in Roche Diagnostics Netherlands or Belgium, depending on your location.
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive innovation in the field of sequencing. You will be part of a dynamic team collaborating to enhance accessibility to cutting-edge sequencing solutions and improve patient outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to launch a new category of NGS technology, called Sequencing by Expansion (SBX).
Your primary responsibility will be developing and executing the commercial strategy for Roche Sequencing Solutions. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, research institutions, and healthcare organizations.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong strategic and analytical skills, creativity, and a proactive attitude. Relevant experience includes technical sales, consultative selling, and managing complex sales processes. Additionally, knowledge of the life sciences and diagnostics industry is preferred.
You will be a team player, flexible, results-oriented, and able to set priorities. Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information effectively in English are required. Fluency in Dutch is also beneficial.
Your Responsibilities:
* Identify opportunities to expand market presence
* BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELEVANT STAKEHOLDER NETWORKS
* Manage sales opportunities through CRM systems
* Conduct consultative discussions and product presentations focusing on commercial outcomes
* Provide technical expertise throughout the sales process
* Represent Roche at conferences, trade shows, and networking events
* Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with company objectives
* Develop and execute strategic plans for regional market penetration
What We Are Looking For:
* Strong knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and molecular techniques
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and mobilize stakeholders
* Experience in capital equipment sales within the life sciences or diagnostics industry
* A relevant scientific or business-related degree (BSc, MSc, PhD)
* At least 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in sequencing or genomics
