We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in ensuring the success of our complex diagnostics systems. This involves fluidics, software, instruments, biochemical sensors, and reagents.
Key Responsibilities
* Taking technical lead in key systems engineering disciplines for system or complex component development.
* Overseeing systems engineering deliverables, such as risks, requirements, architecture, concept assessments, configuration management.
* Contributing to systems engineering in product development projects.
* Creating and writing development documents, including product/technical requirements, traceability analysis, product risk analysis, and configuration management.
* Driving alignment between component development and integration into one system via interface definitions and Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies.
* Planning, coordinating, and supporting test series to evaluate system reliability.
* Supporting system testing during design verification and validation activities.
* Collaborating with other functions across the project in cross-functional activities.
Expected Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
* Practical experience in system integration using technical skills and a systems-thinking approach.
* Fundamental knowledge of relevant systems engineering and model-based systems engineering methodologies.
* Experience working with multiple technology domains and methods.
* Background in regulated environments, preferably in IVD/R areas.
* INCOSE certification and/or model-based systems engineering expertise is desirable.
* Practical experience with SysML or Enterprise Architect is beneficial.
* System integration experience in complex multidisciplinary systems is an asset.
* Advanced English language skills; German language proficiency is advantageous.
