As a Merchandise Planner within the EMEA X-Brand Team at Ralph Lauren, you will play a crucial role as a PRO OTB “control tower” X-Brand through:
Assuring accuracy and consistency across EMEA for OTB Planning
Driving the business towards the RL strategy by optimizing the LRP and the OTB forecast with its main KPIs
Supporting our different stakeholders in flagging any risks or opportunities upfront
Collaborating and streamlining the coordination with X-Departments (FP&A, Business Planning, Buying, Assortment Planning) to help set up clear targets and facilitate the read of X-Brand KPIs on PRO
Initiating/participating in business development projects as well as process improvements for X-Brand
Tracking and monitoring X-Brand OTB evolution through Investment review
Tracking and monitoring margin evolution through EMEA Margin overview
Driving regular discussions with Buying and Assortment Planning counterparts to assess risks and opportunities, align, and understand the seasonal strategy and its impact on sales and margin
Helping to consolidate the X-Channel picture and assure alignment within the X-Brand in the PRO Channel
Building clear presentations that include financial information and business strategies while delivering a clear message
Preparing ad-hoc analysis
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
Master’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration with a Finance specialty
5 years of work experience in Planning, Buying, or Finance, preferably in an international environment
Strong computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in English; another language is a plus
Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive and dynamic with creative thinking, solution-oriented
Highly analytical way of thinking with strong numerical/retail math skills
Adaptive communication with strong listening and communication skills
