Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is performed in a safe, quality, timely, and cost-effective manner while meeting regulatory requirements. This includes planning, coordinating, and monitoring development and improvement projects as well as introducing new products.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and regulatory compliance in all work activities.
* Plan, coordinate, and monitor development and improvement projects, including the introduction of new products.
* Lead budget and Capex execution for Rotor and Generator projects.
* Implement risk (FMEA) and cost-benefit analysis for every new development and process optimization.
* Support non-conformance report (NCR) processing with the Quality Team and Production.
* Maintain clear communication with employees on key customer/business priorities and ensure an open reporting culture.
* Collaborate across divisions to meet business requirements.
* Identify career development routes for team members and promote growth and development of the team, managing resource imbalances through polyvalence.
* Stay up-to-date with new technologies and drive innovation within the organization.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience with strong knowledge of Rotor and Generator design and manufacturing processes.
* Six Sigma Green Belt certification is advantageous.
* Strong leadership skills, including decision-making, convincing, good communication, and assertiveness.
* Excellent German and English language skills in spoken and written form.
