At Eaternity, we sell an application that enables individuals, institutions, and restaurants to calculate and optimise the CO₂-footprint of their own menus and food purchases. We are looking for an engaged team member with a precise and pragmatic working attitude to join our current team of 7 Food Data Analysts. Do you have a great passion for data, food, and sustainability, and are you a team player? Can you work on regular days/hours between 40%-50% per week?

Job Description: Food Data Analyst
As our Food Data Analyst or „Matcher Ninja“, you will be responsible for the timely and correct processing of food data from our clients to assure the entire calculation of the CO₂-footprint as well as other environmental and health indicators. At a later stage, the job also requires you to generate, review, and correct CO₂-reports before sending them to clients and support with data-related client questions and client communication. The job requires commitment, diligence, and joy in being part of a team that aims to contribute towards a more sustainable food society. You bring a good technical skill set, are used to look at Excel files and data, you like to work independently, and at the same time have a team spirit. Maybe you even have a background in environmental sciences, food technology, some basic knowledge of LCA, or are in any other way already familiar with the topic of food and sustainability.
Responsibilities
* The timely and correct linking of client food data with our environmental data and models
* Acquiring and processing additional product specifications from our clients and food producers
* Supporting the quality management of processing food data correctly (updating guidelines, documentation of missing products and product synonyms, reporting bugs and possible improvements on automation, improving the linking of targeted products, etc.)
* Generating, reviewing, and correcting CO₂-reports
* Supporting data-related client questions
