The Position:
This role reports to the Head of the Finance & Accounting Team, responsible for supporting the team in finance and accounting related matters. This position is limited until March 2026.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage accounts payable
2. Process payment runs, single payment orders, and vendor invoices in the online workflow system
3. Financial management of employee expense reports
4. Manage the FIFA corporate credit cards of employees
5. Execute general bookings in SAP
6. Account reconciliations for monthly and annual financial statements, including social insurance reconciliations
7. Handle telephone and written inquiries

Required Competencies:
1. Proven track record of 1-3 years in a finance environment
2. Basic understanding and knowledge of accounting processes and principles
3. Affinity with IT systems (e.g. SAP FI and others)
4. Team player across functions and locations, passing on specialist knowledge independently in the team
5. Keen sense of responsibility
6. Ability to work under pressure
7. High degree of initiative
8. Ability to learn quickly
9. Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information
10. Ability to work independently
