Software Engineer Role
This position in the Product Development group will design and develop critical products for the internet. We use industry-leading technologies like Java, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, Hazelcast, Docker, and Kubernetes to build scalable applications.
Verisign seeks an experienced developer to join the ODIN Development team. ODIN is a central hub for account management, product catalog, and authentication.
Candidates must be eager to learn and have a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and hands-on problem-solving experience in complex software systems.
They will participate in all aspects of product development, including ideation, design, implementation, deployment, and issue resolution, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Team Overview
The team has technical ownership over the product and follows Agile Development methodology. Daily Scrums prioritize tickets in Jira, and our code is on internal GitHub with Git Flow and pull request code reviews.
We use Jenkins for continuous delivery, Ansible and Terraform for automated deployments, and our product can be rolled out from zero to operating state in a single button click.
Collaboration and Skills
Candidates will work closely with Java application developers, System Architects, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Product Managers.
Desired qualifications include experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Terraform, Hazelcast, and PostgreSQL.
