About the role
Process and Prototype Technician will join our Manufacturing team and report to the Head of Production Organisation. The role focuses on building, testing, and refining prototypes while working closely with engineers to implement and optimise manufacturing methods.
The main mission will be:
* Build and assemble prototypes of aerospace components and subsystems (energy storage system).
* Support development and validation of manufacturing processes together with process engineers.
* Operate and set up machines and equipment used in production.
* Prepare materials and tooling required for experimental builds and process trials.
* Assist in debugging manufacturing processes and identifying production issues.
* Collect and record process data, including parameters, results, and observations during testing.
* Support process trials and experiments to evaluate materials and manufacturing methods.
* Maintain detailed documentation and logs for prototype builds and process tests.
* Ensure proper handling of materials and compliance with safety procedures.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams during development and validation phases.
Your profile
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
* CFC in polymechanics, micromechanics, manufacturing, materials or equivalent.
* Hands‑on experience with manufacturing processes and machine operation.
* Good understanding of materials used in engineering applications (metals, composites, polymers, etc.).
* Experience in prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing.
* Ability to follow technical drawings, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
* Strong attention to detail and documentation.
* Proficiency in English; French is a plus.
