In order to strengthen the Global Strategic Marketing Team based in Neuchâtel we are recruiting a
Perfume Strategic Marketing Associate Manager
Reporting to our Perfume Strategic Marketing Manager, you are responsible for managing an iconic product portfolio of perfume collections, handling future product development and coordinating new launches strategy.
Accountabilities
Product Strategy and Development
In this role, you will make strategic recommendations to develop your portfolio of perfume collections over a 3-year period, focusing on introducing desirable innovations for our end consumers. You will define the right product strategy, including concept, product assortment, recommended price and distribution strategy for upcoming launches. Your role will be pivotal in defining the vision of the collection, ensuring it aligns with the overall brand strategy and market demands.
Cross-Functional Coordination
You coordinate the product development while guiding the creative, packaging development, fragrance formulation, production, and legal teams towards the same objectives. You will also work closely with the Brand & Communication team based in Rome to ensure a seamless implementation of the global strategy at a local level worldwide by briefing the different departments involved (Trade Marketing, Advertising, Media, PR, Training).
Performance Analysis
In terms of analysis, you are responsible for analyzing the sell-in and sell-out performances of the collections and launches you lead while gathering local markets’ feedback to establish best practices that can be centrally implemented. You will need to ensure that desirability is always reconciled with profitability while optimizing costs and margins to improve overall financial performance of the products under your scope. Finally, you will be in charge of managing and following up on the allocated budget for your product lines.
Profile
With a Master’s degree in Economics, Marketing, or Business Administration, you have between 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably within a Global Marketing team and with a strong sensitivity to luxury brands and products.
With a sharp analytical mindset, you excel in data analysis and strategic thinking while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Your excellent communication and presentation abilities allow you to convey ideas clearly and efficiently to top management, global teams, and local markets.
Recognized for your ability to manage multiple projects with precision and agility, you thrive in a fast-paced environment while keeping a global vision on your portfolio. Proactive and solution-oriented, you are adaptable and capable of driving innovation while ensuring brand consistency.
Fluent in English, you ideally have proficiency in French and Italian. You also have a strong command of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, to support your strategic recommendations and reporting.
