Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Review and sign off NAV and Financials of the Private Equity and Hybrid Funds, including recording journal entries, preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financials, processing payments, preparing investor notices, and various client reporting.
* Review capital call and distribution workings along with notices and release to respective investors.
* Handle migration of Hybrid and PERE Funds from onshore locations independently and ensure SLA targets are met.
* Identify and implement process improvement techniques to enhance process efficiency and team productivity.
* Manage client relationships for the Funds and handle deliverable requirements on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
* Liaise with onshore teams, clients, and auditors on various requirements, ensuring all supports are provided to the auditors to get the financials approved on the agreed timeline.
* Liaise with multiple stakeholders in the organization to ensure tight deadlines are met.
* Onboard new PE/Hybrid Funds in the accounting platforms (Investran, Geneva, and eFront).
* Manage and execute conversion of Private Equity Funds from other accounting applications to eFront.
* Develop customized reports in Investran/eFront to support client requirements.
* Understand and complete ad hoc requests from clients.
Skills Required
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in PERE and Hybrid Funds.
* Experience working on Investran, eFront, and macro-enabled workbooks; experience in handling audit requirements and ad hoc client requirements in fund accounting.
* Good conceptual knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Experience onboarding new clients and developing reporting templates for client instruments.
* Experience with bank debt and loan debt instruments related to private equity.
* Experience in transitioning PERE and Hybrid Funds from onshore locations.
* Experience in fund accounting, NAV calculation, and financial statement preparation.
* Graduate or postgraduate in Commerce, MBA Finance, CA/CMA.
