Key Responsibilities
1. Design and architect cutting-edge connected MCU and DSP-based products for miniature, battery-powered applications.
2. Define optimal system partitioning, analyze design tradeoffs, and deliver device specifications.
3. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to leverage a platform approach to product development and maximize IP reuse.
4. Perform product feasibility analysis and estimate product development costs to inform business decisions.
5. Provide system-level understanding and expertise to guide product roadmaps and feature sets.
6. Engage with customers as a technical expert to win new opportunities and drive long-term roadmap alignment.
Required Qualifications
1. 10+ years of direct mixed-signal semiconductor design experience, including architecture and/or system engineering.
2. Expertise in defining and architecting low-power MCU and/or DSP products, applying an IP reusage approach.
3. Familiarity with firmware definition and needs for programmable architectures.
4. Experience in performing feasibility assessments of customer/marketing requirements.
5. System engineering expertise and knowledge of industrial and medical applications.
6. Business acumen to steer technical choices towards maximizing return on investment.
7. Clear and concise communication skills at all levels within the company and with customers.
8. Ability to multitask and work with multiple stakeholders outside direct reporting hierarchy.
9. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required; Master's degree or higher preferred.
