About the Role
The IT Project Manager for Corporate IT is responsible for planning and coordinating all activities of the Genedata Corporate IT group. The function provides IT software and hardware as well as security, networking, infrastructure related implementations for Genedata associates.
Your Responsibilities
1. Oversee, manage and coordinate Corporate IT projects to ensure specifications and needs are met to time and quality
2. Monitor and adjust the pipeline of Corporate IT projects and service demand and manage capacity, scheduling, and prioritization in conjunction with the Head of IT
3. Prepare cost and budget analysis of internal and external spend
4. Generate, analyze, and distribute customer service reports internally and gather feedback on performance of the Corporate IT service
5. Develop, recommend, and implement with internal stakeholders’ Corporate IT services during the preparation of business agreements incl. testing and user support post-implementation
6. Forecast emerging Corporate IT demand with Genedata’s scientific, technical, and business teams
Skills & Experience
1. Minimum B.S. in Computer or Life Sciences or equivalent
2. 3+ years related Project Management experience in IT, software, services, some exposure to IT service management and ticketing systems (such as JIRA service management) and/or experience of working with IT service engineers/technical expert teams and/or familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
3. Good understanding of IT operations & processes (services desks, ITIL etc.) is advantageous
4. Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment
5. Skilled in time management with the ability to prioritize goals and successfully complete implementation projects meeting KPIs
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
